1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the GrantMatchr platform at grantmatchr.com, operated by Matchr Technologies Ltd (trading as GrantMatchr). By creating an account or using GrantMatchr, you agree to these Terms. If you are using GrantMatchr on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

2. Who we are

Matchr Technologies Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (Co. No. 17228795), trading as GrantMatchr. Our registered office is 7 Llysgwyn, Llangyfelach, Swansea, SA6 6BJ.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at admin@grantmatchr.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised access. You must be at least 18 years old and have legal authority to enter these Terms.

4. What GrantMatchr does and does not do

GrantMatchr provides an AI-assisted grant intelligence and matching platform for UK businesses. We help you understand which grants may be relevant to your organisation, assess your readiness, and support your application process.

GrantMatchr does not provide: legal or financial advice; any guarantee you will receive a grant; any guarantee that a grant listing is current, accurate, or complete; application-writing services unless separately contracted. Grant funding decisions are made entirely by funders, not by GrantMatchr.

Grant opportunity data is sourced from publicly available third-party sources including government bodies and grant databases. While we take care to ensure accuracy, we do not warrant the completeness, currency, or accuracy of any grant listing. You should independently verify all grant requirements directly with the relevant funder before submitting any application.

5. MatchScore Intelligence™ and automated processing

Our MatchScore assessments use a proprietary deterministic rules-based engine to evaluate your eligibility and suitability against grant criteria. Scores are indicative only.

We use automated processing to produce your assessments. You have the right to obtain an explanation of any assessment, to request human review, and to contest an outcome. A transparency notice is provided at the point each assessment is displayed. An Eligibility Status of ELIGIBLE does not guarantee funding; NOT_CURRENTLY_ELIGIBLE does not mean you will never qualify. You should independently verify all grant requirements before applying.

6. Subscriptions and payment

GrantMatchr offers a Free tier and paid subscription tiers (Solo £29, Growth £79, Scale £149, Enterprise £400+ plus AI credits). Paid subscriptions are billed in advance monthly or annually via Stripe. Prices are in GBP and exclusive of VAT unless stated. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

7. Acceptable use

You must not: submit false or misleading information about your organisation; reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy our grant database or scoring methodology; share account credentials outside your organisation; or use GrantMatchr in any way that violates applicable law.

8. Intellectual property

GrantMatchr, MatchScore Intelligence™, and all associated software, algorithms, and content are owned by Matchr Technologies Ltd or licensed to us. UK Trade Mark UK00004317086 is registered (Classes 35 and 42). You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform for your internal business purposes only.

9. Data and privacy

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (registration C1944075). By using GrantMatchr, you confirm you have read and understood our Privacy Policy. Where we rely on your consent for any processing, we will ask for it separately and explicitly.

10. Platform availability and disclaimer of warranties

The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Matchr Technologies Ltd makes no warranty, express or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability of the platform or its content.

We will use reasonable endeavours to maintain platform availability, but we do not guarantee that the platform will be free from interruption, error, or data loss. Planned maintenance will be communicated where practicable.

11. Events beyond our reasonable control

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: failures of third-party infrastructure providers (including hosting, communications, and payment providers); internet outages; power failures; acts of government; or any other event that a reasonable business could not have anticipated or prevented. We will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and take steps to resume normal service.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

13. Your obligations and indemnification

You agree to use GrantMatchr only in accordance with these Terms and applicable law. You will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Matchr Technologies Ltd and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, losses, damages, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: your breach of these Terms; your misuse of the platform; or any false or misleading information you have submitted. This obligation survives termination of your account.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms and will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
